Evacuation Safety (OSHA)

This Evacuation Safety training helps small, low-hazard businesses develop and implement an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) in compliance with OSHA’s emergency standards. Participants will learn how to create, evaluate, and maintain an effective EAP to ensure workplace safety during emergencies.

• Understanding Emergency Action Plans (EAP):
  Explains the purpose, requirements, and key components of Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), including how to determine whether a workplace is required to maintain an EAP under OSHA standards.
• Developing an Emergency Action Plan:
  Provides step-by-step guidance for creating a customized workplace EAP, including employee roles, emergency responsibilities, evacuation procedures, and communication protocols.
• Workplace Evaluation and OSHA Compliance:
  Covers methods for evaluating workplace hazards, assessing emergency preparedness, and maintaining compliance with OSHA emergency planning requirements and safety standards.
• Emergency Planning Resources and Assistance:
  Reviews available tools, resources, and support systems that assist organizations in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective Emergency Action Plans.
