Course Description
This course provides law enforcement and security personnel with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves from bloodborne pathogens while on the job. Participants will learn about real-world exposure risks, OSHA standards, proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and immediate response protocols to ensure safety and compliance.
- Understand what bloodborne pathogens are and the diseases they cause (e.g., Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV)
- Recognize real-world exposure scenarios specific to law enforcement and security roles
